**SayPro 10 Big CBOs Providing support to GBV survivors in South Africa

The world is a beautiful place full of so many cultures, languages and traditions. But, there are certain parts of the world where it is difficult to understand another person’s communication. It can be hard to figure out what they are trying to say when they get personal or emotional. A lot of times you might not even get the info that matters most to you.

In such cases, it is important to have someone by your side who understands you every step of the way. A support system, if you will. At SayPro we believe that every woman deserves one and that helping hand should come from within her own community too! Our main focus is providing support for GBV survivors in South Africa and we intend on doing so for years to come!

When a crime like sexual assault is committed, the victim’s life is completely thrown off track and it becomes difficult for her to live normally. In a bid to promote the cause of gender-based violence, SayPro is organising a special event in South Africa on June 15th where more than 10 big CBOs are coming together to provide support to GBV survivors.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about the issue of gender-based violence and encourage people to speak up if they have been a victim or witness of such crimes in their lives. The road ahead might be difficult but it will surely help build a safer society.

Everyone has been familiar with the term ‘Bahu’ at some point in life. But what about the term ‘CBO’?

Well, it is a big word that’s reserved for women who have gone through a gender-based violence. Not just that, it also indicates how traumatized and vulnerable she is. A plight which SayPro is working on. The South African non-profit organization is providing support and assistance to GBV survivors in South Africa by offering them 10% discount on their proton beam therapy sessions. This way, these women can rebuild their lives and return to normalcy.

World has turned upside down now.

Rape, acid attacks and other forms of gender-based violence have become a common occurrence in modern society. Although these atrocities take place across the world, South Africa is considered to be one of the most vulnerable regions when it comes to gender-based violence. That’s why there are so many non-profit groups working towards changing this perception. SayPro is one such organization that is taking steps in the right direction by providing support for GBV survivors. They understand how important it is for them to have a platform where they can talk about their experiences and share their wisdom with others. Check out what they have to offer and get in touch with them immediately!
