**SayPro 10 Big Charities Providing support to GBV survivors in Sub-Saharan Africa

The statistics say that one in three women has experienced sexual violence, yet the world has failed to recognize the problem for what it is: a global pandemic.

The SayPro 10 campaign wants to change this narrative by highlighting the plight of GBV survivors and their communities in Sub-Saharan Africa so that people everywhere can take action to end this epidemic. This month, we’re celebrating World GBV Day by giving voice to these women and children who have been living with the effects of sexual violence on a daily basis.

Are you aware of the frequent occurrence of gender-based violence in Africa? Or do you know that 1 in 3 women in Sub-Saharan Africa has experienced some form of gender-based violence?

No matter how much we try to spread awareness, it seems like there is still a lot that needs to be done. A few years ago, SayPro started an initiative on this very topic. To date, they have collected donations worth $1.5 million for 10 organizations that are working towards eliminating GBV from Sub-Saharan Africa. The aim of their project is to provide resources and support to survivors so that they can live a life free from intimidation and abuse.

How do you feel when you hear about people living with HIV? Do you want to do something about it? Of course you do, but not everyone knows how.

SayPro is changing that. We’re leading the charge in a movement to fight global AIDS by supporting Bigger Than Surviving (BTS), an initiative that provides vital resources and support to GBV survivors across Sub-Saharan Africa. For more than 10 years, BTS has been providing life-changing resources and support that enable GB Tutors, coaches, and advocates to live a fulfilled life while helping others achieve stability and recovery.

Join us in our mission and make a difference today! Together we can end GBV forever!

As the World Bank has said, no one should face violence alone. And yet, 1 in 4 women worldwide experience some form of physical or sexual violence every year. The SayPro 10 campaign is changing that by raising awareness about the global problem of gender-based violence and highlighting the work of top charities that support survivors in Africa. Through generous donations and partnerships, these organizations are rapidly expanding their capacity to provide critical services like healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.

Join us in standing with survivors everywhere and saying #SayPro!

As a global brand, SayPro has set its foot in Africa. Close to home and heart, SayPro is committed to giving back to the Sub-Saharan continent where women are facing many challenges. In these challenging times, Say pro has formed a team of 10 people who have decided to give their time and resources for 10 years.

These people understand what it means to be a survivor in the real sense of the word. They know how difficult it is to come out of something as deplorable as gender based violence. Maybe it’s because they’ve been there themselves or maybe they see it in their friends, colleagues, acquaintances – but whatever may be the reason, they feel strongly about doing something about it. So let’s take a moment and reflect on this movement called Saypro!
