In 2021, Action contre la Faim provided aid to 25 million people in more than 46 countries worldwide. www.actioncontrelafaim.org RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the logistical performance of the mission and coordinate its implementation to provide the best support to the programs. More specifically you will be in charge of : – Contribute to the mission strategy definition – Develop the mission’s logistics strategy (purchasing, transportation, storage, vehicle fleet, etc.); – Provide logistical information to other departments for the definition of the country strategy; – Develop in a timely and qualitative manner the logistical part of the programmatic project submissions and donor reports; – Coordinate logistics at national level (Ukraine) – Implement and enforce ACF logistics rules throughout the mission; – Ensure the deployment of ACF logistics tools (implementation, configuration and updating) and the training of users at the national level; – Supervise the implementation of the supply strategy at the national level; – Anticipate and alert on logistics related risks; – Represent ACF in the Logistics Cluster, coordinate ACF actions with other actors in case of concerted actions. – Manage international transport in close collaboration with the HQ – Monitor the international supply chain, logistics actors and import processes; – Define the incoterms to be used in collaboration with the HQ; – Contribute to the decentralized inventory management strategy and collaborate with the programs in the planning of forecasting needs – Guarantee the relevance and manage the implementation of the mission’s security policy, contribute to the implementation of the mission’s security policy – Promote and ensure collaboration and logistical coordination with partners – Participate in the partner selection process and validate the risk analysis on logistical aspects transmitted by the bases; – Validate the logistical aspects of partnership agreements; – Capitalize at the mission level on all innovative practices in terms of logistics management within the framework of partnerships. – Prevent and manage fraud and corruption situations – Supervise and support the Logistics team in the coordination and be the functional manager of the Logistics Managers on the bases in the 2 countries REQUESTED PROFILE Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Engineering or another related field. Master in Logistics, Humanitarian Studies or similar could be an asset. Minimum 2-years’ experience in field logistics coordination and security management in a Humanitarian Aid organizationDesirable previous working experience with Action Contre la Faim. Practical experience in logistics management and coordination within the field of supply chain management, fleet/transport management and asset management. Advanced knowledge of donor’s guidelines and procedures related to Logistics (ECHO, UNICEF, USAID, SIDA) is a plus. Proven ability in translating analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategic decision-making. Excellent team management skills, good listener, high communication skills will be appreciate. Fluent in English, Russian and/or Ukrainian is a asset. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY – 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation – Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience – Monthly per diem and living allowance: 493EUR net, field paid – Monthly country allowance: 450EUR – Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year) – 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens – Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house – Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance – Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period – Training: Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge © ACF is committed to people with disabilities and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
