About the position

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Accounting for the group of companies
• Assist with the implementation and upgrade of Sage Evolution
• Assist with the training of the Sage users
• Identify and propose ways that Sage can benefit the organisation
• Preparing the company’s performance reports for the communication to the relevant parties / stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis as required.
• Calculation of the landed prices of imported raw materials and equipment
• Assist with budgets and forecasts
• Assist with annual audits
• Preparation of VAT recons
• Assessment and preparation of provision calculations
• Review of creditor reconciliations
• Adhoc projects / tasks

Requirements:

• CA(SA) / SAIPA / CIMA will be ous
• Finance / Accounting Degree – Non negotiable
• Sage Evolution – Advanced system knowledge required – Non negotiable
• Advanced MS Office
• Very good knowledge and understanding of IFRS, companies act and tax act
• FMCG exposure will be ous.
• Power BI exposure will be ous.
