Youth unemployment is a serious issue that affects their future prospects. In Express Gifts’ SayPro initiative, we aim to change this. Through our programs, unemployed youth get the necessary training and insights that help them find jobs. We also empower them with financial skills so that they can take up positions of responsibility in their new workplaces.

Express gifts are a great way to brighten someone’s day, but what if it were also an opportunity to give back?

SayPro is changing that notion by gifting unemployed youth with express gifts. These packs contain everything a kid could possibly need for an uncertain time: clothes, shoes, books, and other essentials that can make life easier or at least more comfortable. Also, all the parcels are delivered in a SayPro box so the receiver knows whom they’re from and what’s inside. All of this is possible because of the overwhelming generosity of people who believe in giving back in ways big and small. From sponsoring a kid for a month to buying him lunch on weekly basis, these gifts are making a difference!

For over 20 years, SayPro has been empowering the unemployed youth in Express Gifts Area, with the skills they need to find a job. In classes taught by professionals, they learn valuable soft skills like resume writing and interview techniques. They also get paired with sponsors who offer mentorship and provide steady jobs for them during the day.
