It’s not easy being unemployed in your twenties. And especially today when jobs are scarce, finding a job can seem impossible. But not for Freddies 7 Area youth. They know that with SayPro, they have the power to take control of their careers.

SayPro is a flexible program that helps unemployed youth build career skills and find employment. Through classes and on-the-job training, participants learn how to develop a resume, interview for a job, and manage their time effectively. The SayPro team walks alongside them every step of the way, providing support and encouragement as they strive to achieve success on their own terms. By investing in our youth, we’re helping them build a brighter future – one step at a time.

Who said unemployment is a sign of shame? Join the 7th cohort of SayPro, a youth programme that seeks to redefine unemployment for a new generation. Through this initiative, SayPro aims to provide unemployed youth with skills, knowledge, and builds their confidence and self-esteem. The program is run by experts from various fields who have been working in the field for years and is backed by several corporate partners.

During a workshop session led by one of these experts, participants are provided with valuable information on how they can make the most out of the program and what they can expect from it. Apart from this, they are also taught Mathematics, English grammar and sentence construction, among others. In short words; SayPro educates youth about employability so that they can be more independent!

Today’s youth is employable but unemployed. This has become a new normal. Organizations have no choice but to understand this new world and work around it.

SayPro is one such organization that understands the needs of the youth and provides them with an opportunity to be employed in their area. Youth join SayPro for many reasons – whether it be to get their life back on track, or just to gain experience in a different setting.

However, what all those who join SayPro share is that they want something more out of life – and SayPro gives them the chance to achieve it. People think of our youth as lazy; when in reality, they’re simply looking for an opportunity that’s not being given by every other company out there today!

The term ‘unemployment’ conjures up images of joblessness, hopelessness and despondency. But SayPro is trying to end that misconception. The unemployment rate in the 7th largest district of India is 12.7% as per the 2015-16 data by NSSO. A huge number of youth across the country are employed, but many remain unemployed due to various reasons. Through SayPro, a platform has been created where these unemployed youth can connect with employers and can get the right kind of work experience that could help them find a full-time job or a part-time one.
