Women’s History Month is celebrated every year to highlight the role of women in history, and SayPro wants to celebrate as well. The online platform has partnered with 13 Non-Government Organisation that are working towards empowering women in Sub-Saharan Africa to support them during Women’s History Month.

SayPro believes that by supporting these NGOs, people can make a huge difference in the lives of many women. And at the same time, it’s an opportunity for people from across the globe to understand more about this part of Africa and its culture.

History is replete with instances of women making ground-breaking contributions. To celebrate the countless ways women have led, SayPro is collaborating with 13 non-government organisations in sub-Saharan Africa to support their initiatives.

In recognition of Women’s History Month in March, these organizations are putting their best foot forward and espousing gender balance, leadership and advocacy initiatives. Armed with their new found knowledge and skills, they will undoubtedly make a mark in the history books!

13 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are doing their part to celebrate Women’s History Month, a global initiative that aims to increase awareness about women’s achievements and contributions.

Each year, in addition to celebrating International Women’s Day on 8 March, this month highlights the important work being done around the world by women and girls. This year’s theme is ‘Gender Equality: A Global Challenge – To Be Or Not To Be.’ The goal is to increase awareness of the issues surrounding gender equality and educate people on how they can make a difference. Whether it be through advocating for equal rights or fighting against violence against women, men and children, these NGOs are making an impact.

SayPro salutes these inspiring individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in our world.

Women in sub-Saharan Africa are largely underrepresented, unrecognised and ignored. In this month-long campaign, we aim to change that by celebrating the history, accomplishments, and contributions of women in the region. Women have played a pivotal role in shaping the continent’s culture, politics and economy over centuries. By supporting SayPro, you are helping to make a difference in their lives and elevating their voices.
