Job Description

RDI OPERATIONAL SERVICES OBJECTIVE: To lead the development and roll out of the Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, processes, systems and or tools to ensure quality and effective delivery of projects, programmes and Mintek’s strategy. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Lead the development of monitoring and evaluation framework, procedures and guidelines; Plan, develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation processes, systems and tools; Implement evaluation process to ensure organization and programme effectiveness in the delivery of the organizational strategy; Conduct strategic modelling of Mintek’s RDI activities to inform target setting and impact assessment; Develop metrics for performance management organisation wide; Track the organisational performance, and provide insights and in-depth analysis on organizational and divisional performance against strategy and business plans; Support performance contracting and evaluation of Divisional Managers through Business Plans; Perform periodic national and international benchmarks on organisational performance. Ensure that there is appropriate governance for data collection, collation, storage, analysis and reporting to ensure quality date; Manage all external data quality audits; Develop appropriate reporting templates that facilitate the sourcing and aggregation of information across the organization; Contribute towards the compilation of the annual and quarterly organizational reports. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Master’s degree in a relevant field of Science or Engineering, Management or Monitoring and Evaluation 6 – 8 years’ work experience, of which 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation Track record in designing effective M&E systems. Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills to ensure that tasks are completed; Good modelling skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
