SayPro is a social enterprise that provides support and resources to individuals with Gender Based Violence (GBV). As the world knows, GBV is one of the most challenging issues that can affect any individual’s life. According to World Health Organization, 1 in 4 women are affected by it in her lifetime and yet it remains under-reported.

In southern Africa, there is a growing problem that is taking down lives and affecting communities- it’s called the GBV (Genital Based Violence). It’s a serious issue that requires serious support and SayPro has been providing that support since 2013. Our team comprises of professionals with various backgrounds who are committed to ending GBV by helping survivors find resources and gaining access to them. World over, almost 297 million people live with a GBV diagnosis. The condition is severe and has many long-term effects on health, but it still remains under-diagnosed and misunderstood.

SayPro is here to change that! Our founder, an ophthalmologist by profession, realized that there was no app out there that could help the victims of Gynocomastia Balanitis (GBV), a rare condition of developing abnormal growths in the glandular breast tissue due to hormonal imbalance or side effect of some medications. It affects mostly 20-29 year old males who are obese and have a history of weight gain. SayPro is focused on helping these guys find support from around the world, so they can get the help they need and live comfortable lives.

Is a life with cancer or any other chronic illness, disability or condition a fight for survival? Maybe not. But it may feel like that. After all, there are no shortcuts to recovery. True, but with SayPro, you can at least have someone by your side every step of the way.
