We have all heard of the phrase, ‘Numb ers in life cannot be reckoned’. But now, we are going to tell you why it is so.

In southern Africa, there is a growing problem that is taking down lives and affecting communities- it’s called the GBV (Genital Based Violence). It’s a serious issue that requires serious support and SayPro has been providing that support since 2013. Our team comprises of professionals with various backgrounds who are committed to ending GBV by helping survivors find resources and gaining access to them. SayPro!

World over, almost 297 million people live with a GBV diagnosis. The condition is severe and has many long-term effects on health, but it still remains under-diagnosed and misunderstood.

SayPro is here to change that! Our founder, an ophthalmologist by profession, realized that there was no app out there that could help the victims of Gynocomastia Balanitis (GBV), a rare condition of developing abnormal growths in the glandular breast tissue due to hormonal imbalance or side effect of some medications. It affects mostly 20-29 year old males who are obese and have a history of weight gain. SayPro is focused on helping these guys find support from around the world, so they can get the help they need and live comfortable lives.

Is a life with cancer or any other chronic illness, disability or condition a fight for survival? Maybe not. But it may feel like that. After all, there are no shortcuts to recovery. True, but with SayPro, you can at least have someone by your side every step of the way.

SayPro is a ground-breaking program that connects people living with cancer or other chronic conditions with volunteers who share their experience and expertise to help them take control of their lives. The SayPro team understands the unique challenges faced by those who live with these conditions and are committed to helping them overcome them. With over 10 years of experience in GBV programs across southern Africa, SayPro is a respected authority on health and wellness for those affected by cancer and other illnesses.

When it comes to having a disease that is difficult to understand, special and unheard of, the word ‘longevity’ often gets thrown around. But in Africa, there are a lot of people who live life to its fullest – at least 10% of them have been diagnosed with NPC. And while many survivors find it challenging to maintain normal lives after being diagnosed, SayPro is here for you with support, understanding and befriending.
