**SayPro What is the Youth Empowerment Strategy in KZN?

The Youth Empowerment Strategy (YES) in KZN is a strategic framework that focuses on youth development, poverty reduction and social inclusion. YES was adopted in 2014 as the province’s contribution to the 20 Year National Youth Policy Framework. YES is designed to assist municipalities with meeting their social developmental needs of young people aged 18 to 35 years through collaboration and co-operation between public sector entities such as municipalities, health facilities, education providers and private sector organizations. Some of the key initiatives that YES aims to address are youth unemployment, accessing quality education, engaging young people in social development projects and achieving gender equality.

Youth empowerment is important in our world today. KZN has a youth empowerment strategy to address the needs of this population, which includes providing access to quality education, developing skills and enhancing confidence.

In a recent interview with The Citizen, Nkwenkwezo Dube, KZN’s Youth Empowerment Tourism Minister says that SayPro is one of the many partners that are playing a vital role in the development of the province’s youth.

SayPro stands for Say Yes to Education as well as an initiative by the KZN Department of Education and Higher Education. It aims at motivating children to enter school, getting them ready for their academic journey and encouraging them to strive for excellence.

Youth empowerment is a key pillar of the Kwa-Zulu Natal government’s Youth Empowerment Strategy. Through SayPro, we are ensuring that every youth has the opportunity to develop their full potential through education and employment. With SayPro, you can make a difference by donating school equipment or funding a student’s tuition fees.

We also organize sports and cultural activities for them so they can have fun while learning new skills.

Join us in our efforts to empower tomorrow’s leaders today!

In a world that’s constantly telling you to be more and do more, it can be difficult to find the time for yourself. But what if I told you that you could be doing something for the betterment of society?

Hear about Youth Empowerment Strategy! This initiative is a joint effort by KwaZulu-Natal government and civil society groups who are committed to empowering youth in our province. Through this strategy, we aim to increase the number of young people who take an active role in society by providing them with opportunities to engage and participate, as well as building their leadership skills. In partnership with SayPro, we have developed a series of programs designed to improve youth engagement in KwaZulu-Natal. Through the SayPro Youth Empowerment Strategy, we will work with schools, NGOs, businesses and government agencies to raise awareness about youth empowerment and encourage more youth involvement in Natal’s social fabric.

The Youth Empowerment Strategy, or YES, is a comprehensive approach to empowering and transforming the lives of young people in KwaZulu-Natal. We see it as our responsibility to invest in the next generation so that they can shape their own destiny and participate in building a prosperous KwaZulu-Natal.

Through our programs and services, we are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and enabling young people to achieve their full potential. Our aim is for every young person living in our province to have opportunities that will enable them to reach their full potential.
