Job Summary
Oracle Analyst (ERP and Cloud) – Remote!
The Oracle Financial Analyst is responsible for performing analysis, maintenance, and daily functional support of the Oracle Cloud Time and Labor and the Labor Costing Tool, (FLCAT) under minimal supervision. This position will work closely with the Insight Process Advisor and Functional (FIN, HR) personnel to understand business requirements and ensure that developed applications properly function to meet business needs across the organiz ation. The Oracle Applications Analyst will collaborate with functional Field & HQ Finance teams to ensure the monthly Field Labor Costing (FLCAT) process are done on a timely basis.
As CRS continues a full implementation of Oracle Cloud with global time, labor and payroll allocation systems, The Field Labor Cost Allocation Analyst will help CPs to keep and to adhere to all procedures and systems related to the allocation of labor cost including salary, fringe benefits, allowances, and Cost allocation. He/She will support CPs for finishing the tasks within the deadlines and will be supporting CPs in documenting the audit queries in relation with the Labor cost.
Responsibilities
Serve as Finance field labor cost allocation analyst for FLCAT, Fringe benefits allocation, Allowance allocation and Cost allocation including:
- Support CP Payroll Administrators and other key stakeholders related to the configuration, testing and training for both Interim states and Oracle Time and Labor timesheets. Assist and make recommendations in identifying testing plans related to the roll-out of the new enhancement of FLCAT functionality including test scripts and test plans to ensure configuration and data flow are in line with functional specifications
- Work with CRS’ external implementation partners to perform specific configuration- and testing-related tasks within the project plan, and to ensure quality, timely delivery against project plan milestones
- Assist and work with the Insight Process Advisor in developing and documenting appropriate workarounds or non-system related functions not covered by the system through creative manual processes that may include building spreadsheet templates, etc.
- Participating in testing cycles by performing configurations, executing conversions, conducting, and leading testers through the testing plan and conducting break/fix
- Supporting and guiding CP Payroll Administrators of the application and the testing of new functionality
- Collaborate as needed with Human Resources on topics that affect Oracle labor allocations such as policy updates, reporting, etc.
- Participate in and provide updates on labor costing and carry out activities required for processing Cost Allocation on a monthly basis.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Background in processing payroll.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment and decisions.
- Ability to develop new systems/software to streamline current systems.
- Strong relations management abilities. Ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally. Strategic in how you approach each relationship.
- Strong communications and presentation skills; able to develop tailored and persuasive messaging for varied audiences.
- Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with financial systems.
- Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Web Conferencing Applications, and information and budget management systems.
- Having knowledge in VBA for Excel (Excel macro-enabled) will be an added value
