The Role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, as part of a small team, the recruitment and administration assistant is responsible for providing a range of operational support and services to help meet the business needs to employee’s line managers.
  
General administration and management support, reference checking, coordinating employee inductions and assisting with staff training and development are integral parts of the role, as is providing general advice in relation to Sunnyhaven agreements and relevant legislation. 
  
Skills Required

You will be a proactive self-starter with a flair for working with people at all levels of the organisation. You possess a passion for hr and recruitment and are administratively savvy and organised. You will have at least 12 months experience working within a similar role.

You will have a strong understanding of software package Employment Hero as well as experience using Office 365. You have the ability and willingness to foster and initiate continuous improvement in systems and procedures within the HR team.

Experience working within the not-for-profit sector and an understanding of the NDIS system is desirable but not essential.
