Barnardos Australia is a leading child protection charity in Australia. They firmly believe that all children and young people deserve caring families in which they can grow safely and fulfil their potential.

Barnardos works to end child abuse and neglect by supporting families to keep children and young people safe at home and to break the cycle of disadvantage. They do this through providing foster care and kinship, family, parenting and youth support and early learning and education programs support.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Engagement, you will assist in delivering digital marketing initiatives, including website content creation and email marketing.  You will be tasked with tracking campaign progress, developing, and managing marketing material and digital assets, and enhancing digital communication to increase awareness and contribute to growth. Additionally, you will:

• Create and optimise website content
• Implement SEO improvements provided by digital partner
• Perform email marketing activities
• Measure and report on campaign performance
• Support multiple campaigns and teams

Skills Required

You have a generalist marketing background with a flair and passion for digital marketing and web design. You are adaptable, calm under pressure, work collaboratively and able meet multiple project deadlines. Your experience will also include:

• Understanding of CMS (WordPress, Elementor, Hubspot & Umbraco)
• Experience using design programs, and construction landing pages and EDMs
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
• Copywriting, proofing and creation of engaging content
• Knowledge of HTML and SEO/ SEM optimisation
