How can we help our kids excel without us even knowing? When it comes to developing and maintaining academic performance, home economics is a powerful way to go. The SayPro project has been designed to create an environment of continuous assessment in secondary schools and help students achieve their full potential.
SayPro takes the form of a school-wide program that promotes the importance of understanding what parents, teachers, and students need to know about successful school attendance and performance. It’s designed to give every student an opportunity to improve in areas that matter most, whether they’re working on improving their math skills, getting ready for college or just looking for ways to be more active in class.
The SayPRo project is changing how we approach education and helping kids reach their fullest potential.
Home economics is a subject that students in secondary schools have learned for a long time now. However, it becomes important at the time of the examination. When it comes to academics, students should be able to understand different subjects and how they relate to each other. This is where SayPro comes in.
SayPro aims to provide continuous assessment on academic performance of students in home economics so as to help teachers understand their strengths and weaknesses before conducting classroom-based assignments. The effect of this should be seen within the next couple of months.
SayPro further ensures that enrolled student’s progress is tracked on a regular basis by providing progress reports online so that teachers are able to track student’s progress online and offline as well. Get acquainted with SayPro today!
Continuous assessment is often seen as a burden for students, but a new study has shown that it does have a positive effect on their academic performance. The study was conducted in South Local Government Area of Anambra State and involved secondary schools affiliated with the Fegg Education Corporation. The schools were selected based on their availability and proximity to the research location, which makes the results more accurate than most studies conducted across the world.
The Fegg Education Corporation is believed to be one of the largest educational chains in south Nigeria and operates over 300 schools in various local government areas across the country. These schools are meant to provide holistic education that covers all aspects of human development, including skill acquisition and mastery, physical development, moral and ethical values, and behavioral skills.
Home economics is one of the biggest subjects in secondary school, isn’t it? And what’s taught in the classroom doesn’t always translate to the real world. That’s why we decided to bring SayPro to your school!
