SayPro is an initiative from National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) Ltd., a leading oil and gas company operating in West Africa. In an effort to improve the working conditions for its employees, NPC decided to launch SayPro. The project aims at increasing the awareness about remuneration among employees, and it has been launched in partnership with a reputed global consulting firm – Korn Ferry.
The study aimed at understanding how SayPro is impacting the work-life balance of employees at the Eleme Refinery in Nigeria. For this, they interviewed 30 people and conducted six focus groups on site. They concluded that there are many benefits associated with SayPro, but perhaps most importantly, it’s helping to impact long-term changes in worker performance.
It’s clear that NPC is putting the health and well-being of its employees first, and we commend them for their commitment.
With the correct remuneration, productivity goes up and the output increases. This is certainly one of the most important factors that drive companies today.
There has been a lot of research done on this topic and it has been found that the higher the remuneration, the greater is the impact on output. The key to this success lies in accountability, transparency in operations, and other work-related factors.
