SayPro Diepsloot Youth Project is a nonprofit organization established by Bonita Meyersfeld in 2013 to provide support to victims of gender-based violence.

The founder noticed that the community was still under-inclusive and left out, so she decided to do something about it. She knew that helping GBV victims would be a lifetime commitment, so she founded SayPro Diepto Youth Project with an end goal of becoming a leading partner for community development. With the aim of sustainable growth, SayPro Diepto focuses on providing programs and services that are beneficial to all communities while promoting gender equality.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other like-minded individuals towards this goal. You will be consulted and informed regarding the various programs that SayPro has in place, and you’ll be able to put your knowledge and expertise to use in a variety of ways. From conducting training sessions on topics such as bystander intervention and coercion, to managing complex projects like construction of new facilities, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make a difference.

Bonita Meyersfeld, has been working with Saypro Diepsloot Youth Project since 2014. She started volunteering in order to get connected with organizations that would provide her with valuable information. It was then when she realized the importance of supporting the victims and offering them support in the form of counseling sessions or other necessary healthcare services. Seeing a gap in the market, she started Saypro Diepslott Youth Project to focus only on this issue and help these victims recover from it as soon as possible.
