   VACANCY REFERENCE: P&I -005  JOB SUMMARY  SCOPE  The Protection and Inclusion Officer is under the supervision of the Senior Program Officer and is responsible for the implementation of protection and inclusion activities as well as coordination with relevant stakeholders active in the sector such as NGOs active in the field of GBV and protection, case management and PSS partners, WGSS administration, etc.….  duties and responsibilities:  · Facilitating partners/donors and other stakeholders’ visits to project sites in Turkey and if possible inside Syria.  · To prepare work plan and time schedules for implementing the project activities in Syria and Turkey.  · To carry out other responsibilities and duties as requested by the line manager.  · Mainstream protection and inclusion throughout the programs implemented through BAH office.  · Ensure all staff have proper knowledge and skills of safeguarding, protection and inclusion principles.   · Leading the implementation of focus group discussions, key informants’ interviews and key community groups (women, disability groups).  · Conduct project related analysis tools.  · Support and enhance complaints mechanisms to ensure protection and inclusion of communities implicated.  · Advise about relevant gender, protection, and accountability issues to improve project implementation and future project developments.   · Elaborate, compile and maintain database of referrals;   · Support Sex, Age and Diversity (SAD)-disaggregated collection and analysis of program data.  Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications  · University degree with progressive  in project management.  · three years’  of working for a humanitarian organization in a similar position.  · Good  in providing trainings in protection material is required.  · Female candidates are highly preferred for this position.  · Ability to design and implement protection and inclusion project  · Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.  · Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.  · Ability to take initiatives if required.  · Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.  · Good report writing skills.  · Excellent computer skills.  · Familiarity of monitoring & evaluation instruments & documents is preferable.  · Able to work effectively under, & adapt to, difficult conditions.  Language  · Good in English & fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).  IT skills **  · Very Good computer skills.  · Proficiency in the internet and search tools.  · Proficiency in MS office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting.
