SayPro provides effective and efficient management of the evaluation, planning, execution and reporting of all governance, risk, and compliance initiatives within the Technology Division.It also ensures proper adherence to the Governance framework, coordinates all month, quarterly, and annual Reporting and Submissions to various committees, designs and monitors Project governance across all projects, provides Secretariat assistance to multiple forums within the, coordinates Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management, Policy Framework, as well as Contracts Management within the Technology Division.DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGY Prepare Corporate Plan Template Identify 5 Game Changer Output Indicators Prepare AOP template and then report against targets Develop SMART targets for MTEF and Quarterly periods Schedule session/s with Heads to review indicators and targets Provide support and input in the development and implementation of the divisional strategy Monitor successful down-cascading of strategy and execution within Division Ensure that Technology stakeholder needs, conditions and options are achieved through strategic objectives that have been approved.Monitoring of performance and compliance against the approved strategic objectives/targets. Accurate monthly and quarterly reporting on the achievement of business objectives.BUSINESS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY Evaluate and review the merit of business cases presented to the Technology Investment Committee for approval and make appropriate recommendations to the GE: Technology Facilitate submissions to Technology Investment Committee, Capital Investment Committee, and Funding and Investment Committee. Facilitate all technology submissions to the Operations Committee, Group EXCO, Board Sub-Committees and Board. Provide secretariat functions to the Technology Investment Committee, the Capital Investment Committee, the Digital Steering Committee and the Enterprise Digital Library Project Steering Committee. Assist business units with presenting their business case to the Technology Investment Committee by providing advice/assistance and temple. Ates Facilitate Technology Divisions’ Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting.Submission of reports to EXCO for Business Review, and Monitoring and Evaluation, Board sub-committees Ensure consistent formatting of all messages emanating from the Technology Division Maintain and update the Technology Division’s Contract’s RegisterGOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE Continual reporting to all relevant stakeholders regarding progress against targets for the high-level resolution of internal audit findings. Continual reporting regarding progress against targets for the high-level explanation of external audit findings. Facilitate the Annual Review of Business Continuity Plans and associated Disaster Recovery Plans. Conduct the Annual Risk Assessment of all Strategic, Operational and Project Risks, thus ensuring risk optimisation and alignment to the SABC Risk Management Framework. Continual reporting to all relevant stakeholders regarding progress against targets for the high-level resolution of risk treatment plans. Proactive identification and communication of potential risks by policies and ProceduresPromote a risk awareness culture and guide managing risks proactively. Facilitate the divisional policy reviews in alignment with the two-year Policy Management Review of the division’s management to protect organisational integrity, create value, prevent financial loss and ensure compliance with applicable policies and legislation. Develop and review internal control measures to ensure good governance.(Human Resources, Legal framework, Legal contracts, Policy, Standard Operating Procedures).Review and implement policies and good governance to address gaps and promote accountability.
