Job Description

Purpose of this Role To provide coordination, implementation and administrative support to drive the CETA’s transformation agenda to ensure the effective and efficient coordination and monitoring of transformation goals in support of the execution of the overall strategy. The position also plays a key role in support of the success of organisational change such as changes to business processes, technologies, organisational structure, job roles and systems. Job Responsibilities: • Assumes an advocacy role within CETA and external to it, in respect of the Transformation Agenda of CETA diversity management and cultural integration. • Develop with relevant role players such as Finance, Training, Human Resources, Special Projects, Client Services & Projects etc. consolidated annual transformation plans in accordance with the CETA Transformation Charter. • Monitor and report on implementation of CETA transformation charter as approved by Council. • Manage and coordinate Transformation Unit events and campaigns. • Conduct transformation related benchmarks. • Perform all duties and responsibilities in line with applicable Act, Regulations and per CETA relevant policies and procedures. • Working with various line managers to assist to design and deliver change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the CETA’s ambition to be a high performing organisation. • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders. • Integrate change management activities into project plan. • Coordinate organization-wide change initiatives. • Monitor and report on change management strategies and action plans across the organisation. • Develop organizational assessment procedures, interpret results, and prepare recommendations and action plans. • Contribute to the development of Change policies and procedures. • Identify, risks and problems and recommend action plan based on timeously solutions. • Facilitate and coordinate the culture survey process, results and development of action plans, working with Line and Operational Managers to take action where required to address and resolve issues. • Strengthen the CETA’s culture and values by monitoring the alignment of employee engagement and behaviour with the values of the organisation and initiating activities to address gaps and build the desired culture. • Review the underlying themes of the staff culture survey and ensure that management actions are focused in the right areas. • Facilitate employee engagement levels through appropriate plans such as the employee wellbeing portfolio. • Be a key role player in the facilitation of a diverse and inclusive culture within the CETA. • Ensure periodic climate and culture surveys are administered timeously. • Conduct focus group to ascertain culture findings. • Compile reports based on culture findings. • Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks. • Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements. • Maintain quality risk management standards in line with relevant requirements. • Maintain and enforce all related Service Level Agreements to minimise business risk and ensure business continuity. • Review related Standard Operating Procedures in consultation with the Executive Manager: Strategic Support to ensure business optimisation. • Adhere to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation. • Contribute to the review and update of the CETA policies and procedures. • Prepare and submit to supervisor accurate, complete and credible monthly reports as required for consolidation and tabling at monthly EXCOs. • Ensure all work performed is backed up regularly as per ICT policies onto the CETA electronic servers. • Attend all risk, compliance, ethics and fraud prevention updates meetings, trainings and workshops as scheduled by C
