Babylonstoren is looking for a passionate, friendly customer service officer to join their dynamic online shop team.

Key functions will include, amongst others

  • Receiving telephone calls
  • Handling customer queries via email, phone calls, etc.
  • Handling personal shopper duties
  • Administering the online shop’s support platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.)
  • Supporting the operational team with daily administrative tasks

Minimum requirements

  • A completed national senior certificate qualification (matric/Grade 12)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least two years’ experience in customer service
  • An e-commerce background will be beneficial
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone etiquette and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Computer literate
  • Neat and detail orientated
  • Team player attitude
  • Available to work on weekends
