Being a new entrant in the market, SayPro has impressed us with its vast knowledge and expertise and has been able to put together a youth project that is holistic and sustainable. Diepsloot Youth Project is run by SayPro, an organization that is passionate about giving back to society.

This project found 70 individuals who were willing to grow their own food for themselves and neighbours. SayPro identified 70 households that were still dependent on the government for food security. SayPRO provided them with crop seeds, water pump, fertilizer, and other tools required for a successful growing season. They also helped them construct a storage shed where they can keep the produce for later consumption.

Team members consult with participants on best ways to grow a variety of crops, and then provide proper guidance and support as they harvest their crops. Finally, they organize food distributions so that every resident can take home fresh produce.
