SayPro Diepsloot Youth Project is a non-profit organization that aims to provide jobs, training and education to disadvantaged youth in Gauteng. They also run a project where they work with the zoo to provide animals a better life by taking care of them and providing them with necessary food and water.
Recently, they got a visit from the Department of Water and Sanitation and the Joburg Zoo. In fact, both departments were so impressed by their program that they asked them whether they could set up similar programs in other parts of the country.
