Women’s History Month is celebrated in South Africa, globally, and Saypro is proud to support this initiative by offering 13 community based organisations that offer women-centric services and programmes. In 2017, a Women’s Day was declared to celebrate the history, achievements, and contributions of South African women. This year, we want to know more about the lives of these amazing women who work tirelessly towards gender equality. So, join us in celebrating their successes!

Women are celebrated during Women’s History Month every year, and SayPro is proud to be a part of this celebration. Celebrating the innumerable ways that women have shaped our world, this month aims to bring attention to the achievements of women all over the world. From politics to sports, art to science, and culture to business, there are countless ways in which they are making an impact. With 13 community-based organisations across Southern Africa participating in this monthlong event, we can all learn from their inspiring stories and work towards gender equality across the globe.

Women’s History Month brings to the forefront the contributions of women around the world, and SayPro has a home in southern Africa. In their own words, they are a group of 13 community based organisations helping to support women across Southern Africa during Women’s History Month. Surrounded by an army of volunteers, SayPro helps women overcome life-threatening or debilitating conditions – whether it be through financial aid, emotional support or just being there for her when she needs it most. It is because of their efforts that we now see more women coming forward and sharing their stories about how these organisations have changed their lives for the better.
