SayPro is calling on individuals, companies, governments and others that are willing support a cause that provides support and assistance to people infected with HIV/AIDS. SayPro has realized that only a small percentage of youth from townships can secure jobs within the ICT sector. SayPro in partnerships with corporate companies developed a coding program to help young people in and out of school access ICT skills with the hope that the youth in schools may pursue IT as a career path and unemployed youth can secure employment opportunities and compete within the ICT sector. Description

SayPro is a non-profit organization that provides various training services to the community. They provide training in drugs and substance abuse. This training is provided because, during adolescence, a young person goes through biological and psychological changes. In addition to the physical changes that mark growing up, the teen’s brain is also developing ways to work more effectively. We empower more than 10 000 youth by providing Life and Work Readiness skills through ICT-based programs.

 

Eight out of 10 youth that visits our centers daily, select computer training as their first choice, the reason for this is that potential employers consider it. We are happy we were able to reach bigger numbers annually and we do this through the support of our partners utilizing funds and placement of our beneficiaries.

Our second program is System Support (Technical Support) where we covered the following topics in line with what is required when Youth are searching for jobs. (Office Equipment Processes Monitor and Liaise with Maintenance Providers, Safety principles in working with Office Equipment as well as Method of communicating with Service Providers). This program equips with skills to help better function within a professional working environment

Our third program is System Development where youth are provided introductory modules in programming, covering the following modules: Introduction to coding, history of computers, and programming. Introduction to Scratch Intergraded development environment. Opening a new program, saving a program, record project video, and sharing project to the website. Scripts (motion, looks, sounds, data, events, controls, sensing, and operators). Switching costumes & color, switching backdrop (game background), changing object size. Sensing, touching, and Key pressed. Script motion (moving, turning, direction and rotation), Software development, and maintenance.

SayPro is requesting for assistance by means of donating money, clothes, food, toiletries, stationery and blankets that will be distributed to people infected with HIV/AIDS. Your contribution will work towards supporting patients with medical and food food supplies.
