Central Supplier Database

A single database that serves as the basis of all supplier information for the structure of state is called the central Supplier Database (CSD). The seller information will be certified with foundation such as SARS (The South African Revenue Service), Department of Home Affairs Companies and Intellectual Property Commission, etc.

If the business or organization started the registration process on the Central Supplier Database, then it can merely log in to www.csd.gov.za and know the status of the business itself.

To register with the CSD, followings are the steps to follow:

1. The business must access the CSD site on ww.csd.gov.za.

1. A new CSD account should be registered.
2. The business will then receive an activation email o which the business must click to activate the account.
3. Log into the Customer Supplier Database.
4. The required supplier identification information must be completed.
5. The needed industry classification information should be completed.
