The OrganisationThe Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF) is the leading human rights organization in the region. Established in 1996, it is a coalition of 25 national human rights institutions (NHRIs) across the Pacific, South-East, South, North, Central, and West Asia. The APF provides practical support and advice to its member institutions to help them to be as effective as possible.Benefits & CultureWork within a small and flexible team to support the vision of the AFP.The RoleReporting to the director and working closely with regional partners and the team, you will manage the development and implementation of the APF’s capacity development strategy for members. Your work will include regional, sub-regional, national, and online/blended learning training courses. You will also manage and develop the APF community, online collaboration and learning, and resource platform.Additional responsibilities will be:
- Managing MEAL framework and reporting requirements
- Contributing to strategic planning, fundraising, and other strategic priorities
- Project management and delivery of APF capacity development programs
- Promoting and conducting APF activities nationally, regionally, and internationally
- Designing and developing capacity development materials for content and activities
- High-level facilitation, mentoring, and coaching of APF activities (online and in person)
- Budget management, reporting, and administrative management for program delivery
- Managing subject matter experts and providing input on adult-centred learning methodologies
- Developing/maintaining relationships with partners, NHRIs, and stakeholders
