Through classes and workshops, SayPro teaches participants how to interview for jobs, how to dress for success, and so much more. This non-profit organisation was started in 2013 by a group of friends who wanted to do something about the alarming youth unemployment rate in their area. They decided to set up SayPro as a way of empowering these young people and getting them back into the workforce. They’ve now got 26 centres nationwide where unemployed youth can go and get the skills they need to find jobs. And since launching, they’ve seen a 97% success rate! That’s incredible – especially when you consider that around 40% of these youths have dropped out of school entirely because of their unemployment.
