**SayPro empowers unemployed youth in MAKAOTA Area

When you’ve been out of a job for months, looking for ways to make ends meet is just not possible. The experience can be tiresome and demoralizing, but it could also have an upside if you’re lucky enough to find SayPro – a youth empowerment initiative that focuses on employment.

SayPro was founded in 2013 by a group of young volunteers who wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of unemployed youth in their community. They do this by providing them with the skills and resources necessary for success in today’s competitive job market. This way, they can take control of their own future and build an opportunity for themselves that is sustainable over time.

When the economy is taking a turn for the worse, it’s hard to find employment. The youth in the area are being adversely affected and the impact is visible in their lives. Some of them have been out of job for months, and even years. In such times, SayPro comes as a ray of hope – a platform that provides unemployed youth with career opportunities.

This initiative has brought about many positive changes in the lives of its participants: new ways of thinking, new skills, and opportunities that can transform their lives for good.

SayPro is an initiative by Makka Development Trust that aims to empower unemployed youth in Makka area. It provides them with training, internship opportunities and consultancy services. Under the leadership of SayPro team, these youth can build their career successfully and contribute towards the development of Makka area.

Unemployment among youth is on the rise and it’s a serious concern for everyone. While some may treat it as a part of life, Youth Development Program in Makoota aims at providing real-time solutions to this problem.

SayPro is a social enterprise that brings together employers and job seekers over the course of one month to understand their needs and help them find a solution. It’s not just about learning how to code but also about making new friends, finding a purpose in life, and finding out what makes you happy.

The month-long program takes place at SayPro’s office in Makoota where youth are trained in various skills, provided with 24-hour mentorship, and offered employment opportunities that match their skill sets. Students learn new skills while getting value from their education; employers get fresh talent on board; and society sees an end to unemployment!

No one should be unemployed at 20 years of age. But that’s what is happening these days. Companies are hiring, but not all youth are aware about it and avail themselves in the job market. That’s where SayPro comes in! This initiative by Makka Optical brings together a group of 20-year-olds from MAKAOTA area to make them aware about jobs, internships, etc. They have been told about openings in company brochures and have been guiding youth about it.
