Youth unemployment is a silent crisis that needs to be taken seriously. In Makum, a part of the World’s largest producing state, it is visible in the form of idle youth who have given up looking for jobs.

Now, with SayPro, these skilled and committed young men and women have an opportunity to change their lives for the better. With its innovative approach to employment generation, SayPro provides unemployed youth in Makum a chance to gain valuable experience while they are also being trained for future roles within the organization.

Youth unemployment is not something that can be ignored – it impacts us all by draining resources, weakening economies and harming social cohesion. That’s why SayPro and Makum are working together to change things for the better. There’s so much to be done and seen in Makgumfe, a neighbourhood in Nairobi where unemployment has taken its toll. But, one youth group is stepping in to empower the youth and help them find their footing in life.

SayPro is an initiative that was founded by a team of young professionals who have wanted to give back to the community they live in. They understand the challenges faced by youth and are committed towards making a difference. The SayPro team is currently running 7 different programs that seek to make a difference on every front. From financial literacy programs to job referral services, you can expect nothing short of perfection from these volunteers!

Youth unemployment is a global issue that affects millions of people. We’ve all seen those ads on TV, newspapers, and the Internet about how to get a job. But what about youth who can’t make ends meet? How does that work?

SayPro is a startup headquartered in Makumfe,Kenya that aims to provide young unemployed individuals with an alternative way to earn money. They are establishing SayPro centers in high traffic areas where youth can attend courses for a few hours a day and make ends meet. The idea is simple: Give unemployed people the chance to learn skills and build confidence, while making some extra money in the process.
