Then it’s time for SayPro! SayPro is a youth-led organization that empowers unemployed youth in Makgope area by providing them training programs and employment opportunities. Founded in 2014, the organization has over 200 young people under its wing who have found their calling. From tailoring skills to social media marketing, they’re ready to take on the world and change it for the better.

SayPro is a non-profit organisation that provides young people with skills, coaching and support so they can find their calling and thrive in life. People often class unemployment as a problem that affects the youth, but it can really affect anyone. It is not just a phase or an exit strategy, but it is an actual issue that requires attention and solutions.

We are here to help you understand what it means to be unemployed and why it takes such a toll on people’s lives. We’re also here to tell you why SayPro is one of the best solutions around for this unfortunate group of people. With SayPro, youth have the opportunity to get back on their feet and move forward with confidence and drive. We offer job readiness classes, life skills workshops, and interview skills training so that our participants can be ready for any job opportunity they may have.

When you haven’t been able to find a job in months, what do you do? You decide to take control of your life and start doing things for yourself. But not everyone knows how to do that.

SayPro is here for you. This initiative has empowered youth who are unemployed in Makgopa area by providing them with the skills, experience and confidence required to land a job. Participants attend classes every week, where they learn new skills, network and build their confidence. Since our launch in 2015, we have graduated over 1 500 young people and helped them find employment. That’s why we are proud to say that we are making a difference in the lives of those who need it most!

Unemployment is a big problem in the 21st century and SayPro solves it by empowering unemployed youth. This non-profit organization operates in Makgope area of Kampala, Uganda. Every day, SayPro helps more than a hundred youths find employment, connect with mentors, network with employers and gain skills for the future.
