   Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking an d professional to join our Program Effectiveness team as an International Grant Management Specialist. Reporting to the Director, International Grant Management, the International Grant Management Specialist will play a key role in enabling and supporting grant management system strengthening processes. They will be responsible for providing project management, operational, systems and administrative support to facilitate the high performance of the Program Quality and Grant Implementation team. They will also work collaboratively across the HFH network, serving as a point of contact for key internal stakeholders, providing updates and clarifications on grant management strengthening processes, and following up to seek feedback as required. In particular the Specialist will work closely with the 4 Associate Directors of Grants Management (for Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East, and Latin America & the Caribbean) on coordination and support for processes. This position will be based remotely from a location to be mutually agreed with successful candidate (where HFH can legally hire and candidate can legally work) and will require approximately 20% travel both international and domestic.  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:System Strengthening * Support rollout of new grants management end-to-end processes internationally, in line with agreed plans. * Serve as point of contact for key internal stakeholders, e.g. providing updates and clarifications on grant management strengthening processes, following up to seek feedback or input for processes, organizing group calls or workshops. * Support with drafting and formatting of international grants management policies, formats, training materials etc.   Entity Support * Collaborate with AO focal points on developing and maintaining enhanced mechanisms for support to priority grant funded programs, and on collating information for quarterly internal reporting to Operations Leadership Team. * Provide training and guidance to AOs, Branches and NOs as part of end-to-end process rollout, and ongoing as required. * Provide specific support with special projects as requested by line manager (e.g. hands on support on start-up of a new large grant, participating in donor requirements mapping and mitigation planning).   General * Develop and maintain systems to track and analyze key international grants team data (linked to overall systems). Establish solid working relationships with HFHI network – HQ, Branches, NOs, financial, compliance, audit, MEAL. * Manage information flow across the HFHI network, particularly for clear and supportive communication on grant management strengthening. * Liaise with peer NGO and partner focal points on grant management issues as required. * Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested.   Pursuant to current HFHI policy, this position requires full vaccination against COVID-19, except to the extent such requirement is prohibited by applicable law.  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: * Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in international relations, development studies or other relevant discipline. * At least 2 years of relevant  in project and grant management in the international development/humanitarian sector, preferably including implementation of complex bi-lateral and multi-lateral funded projects. * Understanding of operational and compliance requirements of major institutional donors. * Understanding of program quality standards in international development. * Fluency in English * Skilled at Building relationships and trust, Leading change and Developing people. * Demonstrated ability to think critically, communicate clearly and create accountability * Experience in proposal development and project design highly preferred * Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation processes preferred * Experience in risk management preferred * Active support of HFHI Values:* Humility – We are part of something bigger than ourselves* Courage – We do what’s right, even when it is difficult or unpopular* Accountability – We take personal responsibility for Habitat’s mission* Safeguarding: HFHI requires that all employees take seriously their ethical responsibilities to safeguarding our intended beneficiaries, their communities, and all those with whom we work.
