Preparation and analysis of drawings

Ability to do free-hand drawings of three-dimensional objects.
Accurate and presentable drawings

Line-work and dimensioning
Conceptual details and standard

COMPUTER AIDED DRAUGHTING (CAD) I

Integrated assessment

Each learner works on a drawing board as well learning how to operate a Cad system (Computer Aided Draughting and Design)
The course is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of a Certificate in Architectural Technology, Higher Certificate in Architectural Technology, Diploma in Architectural Technology. It allows learners to complete and exit at specific points or to remain for advance training. Integrated assessment methods and tools for these related qualifications must allow the learner to demonstrate on a specific level that he/she acquired competence and skills in the relevant aspects of the qualification.
Assessment is continuous and allow the assessor to determine applied competence and summative assessment for all the exit level outcomes during the completion of the qualification. The tools that are used for formative assessment during and at the completion of the qualification for each of the exit level outcomes are oral testing, written testing, on the job observation, practical studio work and structured classroom discussions.
A portfolio of evidence of the outcomes of all these assessments for each learner must be built up for record purposes.
Written statements from previous employers, relevant certificates, previous assessment records, records of work performance also compliments the assessment.
