Job Description: Search for Common Ground – Afghanistan seeks applications from qualified individuals to support Search’s program aimed at local radios’ capacity-building in content development and radio production in nine provinces. Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop & adapt training materials for a selected group of radio producers as per the local context and Common Ground approach to media; Assist radio producers (12 radio stations) in Developing production & dissemination; Conduct a five-day radio production training for 24 radio producers; Assist Search’s project management team in the identification and selection of radio stations; Provide on-the-job coaching and training to radio producers; Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor. Safeguarding Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Master’s degree in journalism or bachelor’s degree/similar qualification with strong proven knowledge and experience in radio production. Five years of professional experience with radio stations in Afghanistan. Be an Afghan citizen and must be living in Afghanistan. Possess effective communication skills in Dari, Pashto, and English. Professional experience in conducting workshops and training sessions for media professionals.
