Methodology

We propose a proven phased approach for undertaking services from an incumbent vendor, as depicted below. This approach provides an opportunity to review the progress and fine-tune the engagement on an ongoing basis and align it towards the end business objectives. The phases along with tasks from a process perspective are defined as per the ETVX (Entry, Tasks, and Verification & Validation and Exit criteria) modelOur approach is based on the training strategy as stipulated by the NEMISA of a blended approach.

  • Web-Based training
  • Virtual learning (Covid 19 – Compliant)
  • Computer-Based training
  • Distance learning
  • Conventional Classroom learning

TRAINING MethodologyAt commence of the engagement stage, Southern Africa Youth Project will propose a Training strategy/ approach document that will have the below outcomes for the NEMISA

  • To determine the approach for delivering training programs that are consistent with the users’ needs and provide “just-in-time” Training as required by the NEMISA
  • To construct an approach that trainers can use to train all end-users while providing the flexibility to tailor the material to individual groups, business processes and end-user skill sets.
  • To identify process areas and related training courses that serve as a basis for end-user Training.
  • To identify the primary audience for each training course.
  • To develop course design framework principles that maximize value and minimize the elapsed time spent in Training.
  • To develop an approach that provides knowledge transfer and post-training reference to end-users.
  • To identify areas where ideas and effort can be leveraged across the NEMISA business units to streamline training development while providing each business unit with the MATERIALS and support needed to deliver Training success

AssumptionsThe below critical assumptions have been made because of going the RFQ

  • End-users will receive Training on the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their role in the process and system, in addition to receiving an overview of the entire process and design.
  • Training will be conducted using PCs, e-LEARNING
  • DELIVERY, web-based and classroom as appropriate for the users of the system.
  • Once course materials are further outlined, the timing of courses will be modified if needed to allow adequate time for instruction.

1.1.1 Training Phases

The Southern Africa Youth Project team will take ownership of the overall Training effort associated with the scope of work. We understand that several resources and groups already have responsibility for various aspects of Training. As such, the role of the Southern Africa Youth Project guided by the NEMISA team will be to identify all the training-related activities required to successfully deliver Training, develop the overall training project plan, track progress against the training plan, and identify, document and report on training progress, issues, and risks.Southern Africa Youth Project’s approach to Training consists of five phases, as illustrated below. To create the overall training plan, we will work with the appropriate project resources to identify all TRAINING activities within each of these phases and manage them accordingly. A description of each of these phases is provided below, explaining which activities will be the responsibility of the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team to deliver. Fortunately, our phased training approach is aligned to the phased Statements of Work as stipulated on the RFQ.Please visit our website at www.saypro.online Email: info@sayro.online Call: + 27 (0) 11 071 1903 Email: info@saypro.online Tel: + 27 11 071 1903 WhatsApp: + 27 84 313 7407.
