The Organisation

Justice Connect are one of Australia’s most impactful legal service organisations assisting communities who are disproportionately impacted by the law. Innovative in their approach, they use digital strategies to address underlying systemic issues, advocate changes to policy and extend their reach in helping people navigate the legal system ensuring the services they provide are efficient and accessible. Having launched Justice Connect Answers (JCA) in 2020 – an online service connecting people to real lawyers who can respond to their legal questions via email, for free, they are keen to build on this work and extend its reach.

Working across a wide range of areas of law and the scale of challenges they address, from providing legal support to disaster-affected communities, to helping not-for-profit organisations navigate complex regulatory requirements, Justice Connect work with a network of over 10,000 pro bono lawyers across the country who are committed to progressing social justice and empowering the community to use the law as a force for good.
