SayPro Bluebird Service Advocate
Location: Main base at Women in Prison head office, Stockwell with travel across London. Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: £27,720 per annum Contract: Permanent Deadline: 9am Monday 26th September 2022 Interview date: w/c 3rd October 2022 Do you work tirelessly to ensure that your clients receive the best possible outcomes? Are you passionate about collaborating with partners to provide a trauma-informed approach to your clients? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project providing an enhanced support service to women who have experienced complex trauma. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a cohesive pathway of psychologically informed support services. The purpose of this role is to deliver in-depth advocacy, advice and support to a caseload of women who have multiple intersecting needs including a significant history of trauma, mental ill health and/or a diagnosis of personality disorder. Historically other services may have struggled to engage with these women and this project works to changes these systems. The role will include fantastic opportunities for joint working with the NHS, including being part of a team with psychologists in the NHS, including attending group consultations where a case formulation is developed, and attending training, reflective practice and group clinical supervision with psychology staff. You will also receive individual clinical supervision through Women in Prison. We actively encourage applications from women from a variety of backgrounds, and with a range of skills and experiences.
