**SayPro Implementation Research on Noncommunicable Disease Risk Factors among Low- and Middle-Income Country and Tribal Populations Living in City Environments

Noncommunicable diseases are a global pandemic that is affecting people from all walks of life, irrespective of where they live. The burden of these diseases falls disproportionately on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) where most estimates suggest that the disease accounts for 70% of the global disease burden. In such contexts, implementing health programs and policies to curb NCDs can seem like an impossible task. However, SayPro understands this problem better than anyone and has come up with a solution that helps tackle this issue in a wonderful way.

Noncommunicable diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer kill hundreds of millions of people every year. And these are only a few of the most well-known health hazards.

The SayPro team, comprising epidemiologists, statisticians and geographers, has been working for the past six years to understand risk factors that contribute to a person’s chances of developing noncommunicable diseases. The research is being conducted in three different countries and several tribal communities in India. The aim is to use this information to create interventions that can be used in low- or middle-income countries so that they can prevent this silent killer from taking its toll on their population.

Start spreading the word about NCDs – these hunches may help you do it!

Who doesn’t know about heart disease, diabetes, and other lifestyle-related health issues affecting the middle and low income groups? Quite a few still live in a city as well! To promote healthy living and weight-loss, Saypro has launched a research project on non communicable diseases (NCDs) risk factors among low- and middle-income country populations that reside in cities.

The data collected through this initiative will help researchers understand the root causes of these diseases and design effective interventions to tackle them. From the data collected till now, it has become quite evident that rapid urbanization is putting pressure on people’s lives in terms of health, nutrition, and financial stability. These risk factors are integral to understanding these NCDs issues. So just give it a try; you will feel better for sure!

In today’s world, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are becoming one of the leading causes of death and burden on society. NCDs are related to some lifestyle factors, including smoking, eating habits, and physical inactivity. However, because of their global nature and affordability, most people still do not know how to prevent or control them.

SayPro is implementing a unique research project that aims to understand the risk factors behind NCDs among low- and middle-income country (LMIC) populations living in city environments. The project is spearheaded by a multidisciplinary team of researchers from leading universities, who will be working closely with clinicians and data scientists to develop innovative solutions that can reduce these risks. In addition to finding answers to this important question, this project will also help create awareness among LMIC communities about NCD prevention methods.
