Job Summary: The Chapter Engagement & Support Manager will oversee Mission and Mobilization’s (M2) scalable system to onboard, support, inspire, grow, encourage, and retain CRS chapter and club leaders and members across the United States that will increase advocacy and fundraising outcomes in support of a m ore just, equitable, and generous US forei gn policy and raise funds for CRS. The Manager is responsible for developing new, strategic initiatives for scaling our chapter and club support for the long-term. The Manager also contributes to strategic budget planning and resource management based on operational goals and objectives. Roles and Key Responsibilities: Champion and model the adoption, consistent use, and central role of Gateway Communities as the platform for chapter and club access to and sharing of information, networking with each other, learning, and organizing. Lead the development and strategic focus and oversee, and as necessary support, while ensuring team adherence to, process optimization by which newly built chapters and clubs are received into the guidance and care of the Constituent & Chapter Engagement Team utilizing Gateway (Salesforce) data systems Ensure prospecting and acquisition of new CRS campaign supporters and chapter/club hosts, leaders and members is optimized throughout the work of the unit Manage the design of medium and long-term goals for the team. Ensure the team coordinates well across the Constituent & Chapter Engagement Team and the team’s objectives are in alignment with unit plans and divisional strategy. Ensure openness and readiness to work in collaboration between teams in close consultation and agreement with the Team Director to effectively reach teams and divisional goals. Consults closely with the Team Director and implements plans and activities as approved by the Director. Ensure regular objective assessments of data and related reporting utilizing primarily Gateway/Salesforce, are conducted with the staff/team to understand the efficacy of the staff/team’s outputs and that key learnings are applied to the team’s activities and incorporated into annual strategic planning processes. Effectively manage staff and supervise. Manage staff well-being and provide coaching and mentoring. Strategically tailor individual development plans and complete performance assessments for direct reports. Ensure that staff have appropriate understanding and expertise in CRS’ advocacy and fundraising strategy and tactics to support their constituents. Manage the development of staffing plans and the recruitment process of staff as needed. Ensure strong representation to key stakeholders, including Church partners and volunteer leaders across all audiences. Ensure staff understand and adhere to CRS staff policies and procedures. Promote, uphold and model a commitment to the efficient use of agency and donor resources. Create and maintain proper conditions for learning. Establish a safe environment for sharing of ideas, solutions, and difficulties and the capacity to detect, analyze and respond quickly to deficiencies. Promote accountability, learning and knowledge management overseeing application of the M2 MEAL standards, as well as support of cross-department learning, particularly through Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs). Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management or related field required. Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience managing high impact advocacy, fundraising or related initiatives. Experience in complex relationship management, volunteer recruitment and development, or leadership training. Minimum of three years management experience Required Languages – English. Travel- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% within the U.S. On occasion internationally. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience successfully activating people to join and take action in issue-based campaigns through advocacy and fundraising, and to provide their time, talent and treasure in increasing their actions in more complex, and more impactful ways. Experience engaging partners and strengthening partnerships. Experience working with Church partners. Staff management experience and abilities that are conducive to a learning environment. Ability to represent the agency at high levels. Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Web Conferencing Applications, Salesforce, and other relevant information and budget management systems.
