A National Council of Provinces (NCOP) is a deliberative body that brings together representatives from all over the country to discuss and deliberate matters of national importance. Formed in 1973, SayPro has helped shape the nation’s politics for nearly four decades. Understandably, it has an immense amount of respect and credibility among lawmakers; and for good reason.
Have you ever wondered how lawmakers decide on issues like electoral reforms or national security? Or what makes them work towards a particular goal? What drives them? What motivates them to be part of SayPro or NCOP? How do they go about meeting, attending sessions, and discussing important issues with other members across the country?
Meet Brand SayPro: a platform where you can meet interesting people, learn new things, and get connected with your community. From holding events to attending summits in various cities across the globe, it’s a fantastic way to build relationships with like-minded people who share your vision for the country.
When the trust of millions is at stake, it is only proper that the political system is truly looked into. What you see on TV and hear in the news are not enough to make an informed judgment.
SayPro’s mission is to ensure that citizens know their rights, understand how these rights are being protected, and have access to unbiased information about their government. SayPro has a team of professionals working every day to make sure that this goal is met.
The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) is a consultative forum of the federal government, provincial and state legislatures established under Article 239 of the constitution. The aim of the NCOP is to provide a platform for the members of provincial and federal legislatures to share their ideas and grievances with the central government. This year, SayPro is teaming up with the National Council of Provinces Parliament to observe this historic day!

The pro-rata revenue sharing under the new federal constitution is expected to be a fair way to spread resources and develop provinces.
SayPro’s National Council of Provinces (NCOP) parliament is convened for three days annually to discuss matters related to devolution of finances, representation and other key issues affecting our provinces. The NCOP is a forum where all stakeholders come together to debate on these key topics and arrive at resolutions that will benefit the entire country. This is why SayPro members are attending the NCOP; so that we can have our voices heard!
