Join the Save the Children team in this newly created role, responsible for growing Save the Children funding and partnerships across the Pacific region. This funding will be used to directly improve the lives of children in the areas of education, health, child protection and climate change. This is a full-time, 12-month position with the opportunity to extend based on impact. Save the Children is no ordinary not-for-profit. We’re ambitious, creative and outspoken. Where you come in: In this full-time, permanent position based anywhere in Australia or the Pacific. Reporting to the Regional Pacific Director , you will be responsible for growing Save the Children funding and partnerships across the Pacific region. This funding will be used to directly improve the lives of children in the areas of education, health, child protection and climate change. You will make an impact by: Identifying new business development opportunities across the Pacific region Enabling Country Directors, PDQ and technical teams to build strong relationships and funding partners Building the capacity of business development in-country Developing proposals and providing coaching and feedback on proposals Building and managing pipeline Does this sound like you? This role requires: Demonstrated experience identifying and securing funding from DAC/non-DAC government donors, multilateral agencies, corporate donors and/or foundations Demonstrated experience in leading assessments of funding landscapes, and developing programme funding strategies to meet strategic goals, ideally in the Pacific Highly developed networking skills and ability to form productive working relationships with external donor agencies Desired knowledge or experience Understanding of Pacific culture Working at Save the Children is more than just a job.
