About the Role

This position is key in fulfilling the European Social Network (ESN)’s vision as key advocate for new models of care that promote choice and autonomy for people in need. ESN is an expanding Network that has recently been awarded with new projects including an EU funded project in Spain. The project manager will lead key projects in care innovation and workforce training and development to realize this vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and implement detailed project content;
  • Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner and predict resources needed to reach the project’s objectives;
  • Prepare and track project budget and work planning based on scope of work and resource requirements;
  • Manage contracts with suppliers for project related activities;
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed;
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement;
  • Plan and manage content for project’s deliverables, including projects reports planning and implementation, working groups, national and European seminars, and conferences;
  • Produce policy documents informing about progress and outcomes for the projects;
  • Prepare and adapt documentation for different stakeholders at local, national, and European levels;
  • Represent ESN at national and European levels as a speaker to communicate about projects progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • University degree in public or social policy, international, business studies;
  • 3+ years of demonstrable project management and related experience;
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
  • Knowledge project management methodologies and best practices;
  • Knowledge of policy scaling-up, event management;
  • Knowledge of care and social service policies;
  • Fluent in English and Spanish;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish;
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful;
  • Promote the participation of ESN members in the projects’ activities.

Conditions

  • Full-time position (38h/week), permanent contract;
  • Remuneration according to experience and in line with the Brussels market;
  • Additional benefits: holiday pay, 13th month pay, lunch vouchers, travel reimbursement, hospitalization insurance, eco-vouchers, additional holidays, and Christmas leave.
