                         Request for Proposal (RfP)for Study on Agroecological status of the Karnali River Basin areas in Surkhet and Dailekh using TAPE (Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluation) Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in October 1995 with its Head Office in Pokhara and Programme Coordination Office in Lalitpur. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local resources, innovations and institutions for the sustainable management of natural resources and building resilience to climate change for improving the livelihoods of target beneficiaries that includes smallholder farmers particularly women in Nepal.LI-BIRD and Social Service Centre (SOSEC), a Dailekh based NGO, is implementing a project entitled ‘Climate and Gender Responsive Resilient Agriculture and Enterprises in Karnali River Basin (Green Karnali)’, funded by Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) through DanChurchAid (DCA), Nepal, in Surkhet, Dailekh, and Achham districts in Nepal. The project is planning to conduct a Study on Agroecological status of the Karnali River Basin areas in Surkhet and Dailekh using TAPE (Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluation). The intended study will take place in four working local governments namely Birendranagar Municipality, Barahatal Rural Municipality in Surkhet and Dull Municipality and Athabish Municipality in Dailekh. Thus, LI-BIRD invites proposals from qualified consultants/private firms or a team of experts to accomplish the aforementioned tasks.The interested applicants need to fill up the Request for Proposal Form which can be downloaded from the link below: Download Request for Proposal FormThe Terms of Reference (ToR) is annexed as Annex 1 in the Request for Proposal Form. The applicants are requested to thoroughly read the Request for Proposal Form and fill in the required information (Annex 2 and Annex 3).
