SayPro Research and Development Management

SayPro leads the R&D management function, including the development of the functional strategy; Leads the development and implementation of research-related policies and procedures that optimise the utilisation of the R&D portfolio; Develops and implements a strategic investment process to ensure alignment of RD&I goals, programs, resources, with the strategy; Provide leadership on the development and implementation of all SET Human Capital Programmes; Provide leadership on the development and implementation of the research infrastructure strategy. Contribute to the development and implementation of plans to grow revenue to support R&D and the related research infrastructure; Design and implement systems and processes for effective and efficient R&D management (ideation and idea management, stage-gate project management, portfolio management, research data and information management, resource and competence management, etc.); In partnership with senior management, identify gaps and develop synergistic programmes that promote and enhance the research and innovation capacity and capability of the technical complement in ; Ensure the function is adequately resourced with the right skills at all levels; Deliver on the function’s KPIs; Establish efficient and effective internal and external review panels to provide research quality assurance; In partnership with the leadership of technical divisions, implement initiatives that will enhance visibility and networks; Ensure client (internal and external) satisfaction as per agreed targets;
