**SayPro What are some of the challenges that KZN youth face when it comes to economic empowerment?

There are many challenges that KZN youth face when it comes to economic empowerment. Some of the most common challenges include: – Youth unemployment is high in KZN, around 25% for those between the ages of 15 and 24. – Low incomes, high levels of debt, and a lack of access to quality education are some common challenges that young people face. This often leads to poverty and inequality, which then affects social mobility and life chances for youth. – There is a need for more effective policies aimed at boosting youth employability, entrepreneurship, investment organizations…etc.

Y know when someone says they’re from KZN, you immediately think of crops, cattle and wildlife. But what about the youth? Do they also grow up immersed in these traditional values, or is it something that is fading away?

When SayPro heard about this debate, we wanted to do our part and contribute to it. So we tracked down a bunch of young people from different parts of the province, and asked them a few important questions.
