SayPro What is a typology of agriculture and what effects does it have on production?

There are three main types of agriculture: subsistence, commercial, and pastoral. Subsistence agriculture relies mainly on natural resources to sustain the farm while commercial or industrial agriculture depends on inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides to increase production. Pastoral farming is a mixed system that falls between these two extremes. Usually, livestock and crops are kept on separate properties, but under certain circumstances they can be integrated. Mixed systems have significant impacts on agricultural productivity because it determines what kind of technology is used, how the land is managed, and what crops are grown
