JMO Communications (JMO) is a woman-owned and led, SBA 8(a) certified small business committed to invoking behavior change around the world. We are a diverse group of 50+ communications professionals, graphic designers, and learning experts located in 11 countries. We provide services to our clients – United Nations, US Government agencies, international non-governmental organizations, for-profit private companies, and foundations – as both an outsourced communications team and on a project-specific basis.

Summary:

The program manager will organize, manage, plan, and implement projects and processes.

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • Oversees a team of up to 5 staff and multiple consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

Position overview:

  • Collaborate with the CEO on client management, strategic planning, and leadership.
  • Triage incoming client requests, prioritize and delegate activities, and manage concurrent project pipelines.
  • Supervise staff and consultants throughout the project pipeline, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor and manage global portfolio for various technical areas, including workplans, deliverables, budgets, reporting, quality assurance and subaward management in coordination with the CEO.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 7-10 years of related experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Project, staff, and client management skills.
  • Highly organized, diligent, reliable, and a self-starter.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and cross-cultural communications skills.
  • Strong, proven skills in Excel and strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of international development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and within diverse teams and contexts.
  • Ability to revise and improve processes to improve efficiency.
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Monday.com, or other similar software.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
