Their mission is to help people build better lives & countries achieve sustainable development. Their areas of expertise cover infrastructure, procurement, project management, financial management & human resources. Planning, delivery & performance: Support the implementation of our clients project stakeholder engagement plans in the north of Yemen. Support our clients project management in organizing & managing meetings & workshops with its local / national stakeholders, when requested. Support in managing a proper & effective follow up on our clients requests with relevant authorities in Sana'a for staff & goods in land movements & tax exemptions. Disseminate information & conduct outreach to local authorities in Sana'a on matters relating to the implementation & logistics of our clients projects in the north of Yemen. Establish & maintain robust working relationships with relevant key local & national stakeholders in the north of Yemen. Event management: Carry out administrative tasks associated with this work, such as obtaining all relevant local security permissions from the national authorities, attending group management meetings & reporting on activities. Facilitate the planning, coordination & on site execution of our clients project stakeholder engagement plans in the north of Yemen. Document attendance, participation & provide social skills instructions to attendees. Coordinate & assist the local travel & event arrangements for our clients staff across the country. Traveling to the area that needs event management facilitation. Monitoring & reporting: Support in drafting, editing & coordinating communications materials (correspondence, communiqués, press releases, talking points etc.). Coordinating the drafting & dissemination of knowledge products (reports, newsletters, policy briefs, website content, workspace entries, speeches, presentations etc.). Support in reporting on the findings from evaluation of engagement activities, when requested. Adhere to the agreed reporting cycles & requirements. Project reporting: This role reports to the Project Manager. Key competencies: Bachelor Degree in Communication, Social Science, or any relevant fields with 2 years of relevant working experience. 2 years working experience in relevant areas. Strong written & oral communication skills. Experience in outreach to local & community stakeholders. Experience working within the UN system is an asset. Strong local network in Sana'a. Extensive knowledge of local rules & procedures. Be experienced in community engagement & partnership. Experience of building & maintaining partnerships with relevant stakeholders. Capacity to build strong relationships. Foster trust & cooperation among local stakeholders. Excellent writing & communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts, both in written & multimedia presentation forms, in a clear & persuasive style, tailored to match different audiences. Ability to collate, coordinate & integrate information from a wide range of sources in the production of written outputs & communication materials. Communicates effectively with staff at all levels of the organization & is comfortable in handling external relations at all levels. Demonstrated ability to act as focal point for event coordination. Aility to represent our client in a professional manner in all interactions with partner agencies, govt. bodies, national groups, private sector organizations, CSO's organizations & other stakeholders. High level of responsibility & ability to handle sensitive issues in a responsible & mature manner. Capacity to plan, prioritize & manage time efficiency & flexibly while working under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively within a culturally diverse team to achieve organizational goals. Promotes the vision, mission & strategic goals of the UN. Openness to change & ability to receive & integrate feedback on performance. Excellent Arabic oral & written communication skills (English language is a plus). Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work as part of a team. Strong personal capacity to work under pressure. Team management: This role has no team management responsibility.      INTRODUCTION: Under its 5-year ACCESS Program, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), ABA ROLI Philippines requires a service provider to design and facilitate the In-person Annual Subgrant Forum to take place on the 25th and 26th of October in collaboration with the ABA ROLI Philippines Program Team. ABA ROLI is a non‐profit organization that implements legal reform programs in roughly 50 countries around the world. ABA ROLI has nearly 500 professional staff working abroad and in its Washington, D.C. office. ABA ROLI’s host country partners include judges, lawyers, bar associations, law schools, court administrators, legislatures, ministries of justice, and a wide array of civil society organizations, including human rights groups. For more than a decade, ABA ROLI has focused on improving court efficiency, increasing business sector confidence, combating corruption, and expanding access to justice in the Philippines. By continuously working with a broad coalition of local partners — trial and appellate courts, the Supreme Court, the Philippine Judicial Academy, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, universities, law schools, and a spectrum of civil society representatives — ABA ROLI is building local capacity to champion and uphold the rule of law. SCOPE OF WORK: In consultation with ABA ROLI ACCESS team, the contractual partner will perform the following: Co‐design the event program based on drafts provided by ABA ROLI, including an event script and methodology for each session, as well as workshop script design Prepare for, participate in, and provide support to all pre‐meetings with partners, including briefing with presenters and resource persons, and support session rehearsals Prepare suggested fishbowl questions for each session, with consideration given to the number of CSOs participating/presenting per session Conduct in-person hosting and facilitation of the 2‐day Forum Write a summary report on the Annual Subgrant Forum, including feedback and observations. DELIVERABLES Attendance during pre‐meetings with partners Briefings for presenters and resource persons Support to session rehearsals A final workshop script design Suggested fishbowl questions for each session. In-person hosting and facilitation of the 2‐day Forum Post-event Summary Report, including feedback and observations SELECTION CRITERIA  Experience At least 5 years of experience facilitating or moderating in-person events Knowledge of how non-governmental organizations operate and a working understanding of the Philippine justice system in general Ability to travel within the Philippines.
