SayPro is changing lives one step at a time.
Recently, Serbia was reported to have the highest number of new HIV infections in Europe. In an attempt to tackle this problem, SayPro from the Czech Republic is taking its best practices in HIV/AIDS prevention to Serbia.
SayPro’s goal is simple: to teach the most effective way of engaging men and women in HIV/AIDS prevention. To do this they’ve identified the barriers that are stopping them and developed solutions that will help them overcome them. The way they do it is by teaching people how to talk about HIV and AIDS in a way that makes them feel comfortable. They also create awareness about the disease, so people can understand why it’s important that they get tested regularly. Lastly, they offer life-changing services such as counseling and medicine at discounted rates, which allows those living with or affected by the disease to take control of their lives.

In the 1990s, Czech Republic was the first country to introduce an effective HIV/AIDS prevention strategy. The strategy’s success is evident in the fact that HIV prevalence has fallen from over 30% in 1990 to about 5% today. How did they do it? Through an integrated approach that combines behavioral change communication with biomedical intervention at every stage of infection. We call it ‘Czech Best Practices’. And now, we want to share this knowledge with Serbia!
With SayPro, you can be confident that you’re getting the best possible health care and support when you need it most.
Why is SayPro such an important initiative in the fight against HIV/AIDS? Why should we care about the latest developments in this field?
These are questions that have been on the mind of many people worldwide, and this month, we can easily understand why.
