Job Title: Manager, Chapter Building and Training

Reports to: Director, Constituent & Chapter Engagement

Location: Baltimore, MD/Remote Telecommuting

Job Summary:

The Chapter Building & Training Manager will lead the development and implementation of Mission and Mobilization’s (M2) new strategic and sequenced leadership development training program, rewards, recognition, experiential learning and other events to support the scaling of our movement of CRS s upporters throughout the United States. The Manager also contributes to strategic budget planning and resource management based on operational goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management or related field required.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience managing high impact advocacy, fundraising or related initiatives. Experience in complex relationship management, volunteer recruitment and development, or leadership training.
  • Minimum of three years management experience

Required Languages – English.

Travel– Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% within the U.S. On occasion internationally.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment and decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills. Ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally.
  • Team leadership abilities.

  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual, bicultural competencies (English/Spanish)
  • Demonstrated experience successfully activating people to join and take action in issue-based campaigns through advocacy and fundraising, and to provide their time, talent and treasure in increasing their actions in more complex, and more impactful ways.
  • Experience engaging partners and strengthening partnerships. Experience working with Church partners.
  • Staff management experience and abilities that are conducive to a learning environment.
  • Ability to represent the agency at high levels.
  • Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Web Conferencing Applications, Salesforce, and other relevant information and budget management systems.
