Note on remuneration: Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Job Description

Minimum Requirements: An appropriate Civil Engineering degree (B Eng/ BSC (Eng) or relevant qualification; Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer; A minimum of six years post qualification required as a Registered Professional Engineer; A valid code B driving licence. Recommendation: Proven in the following: Water and sanitation infrastructure forward planning and design; Asset management; Drafting of tender documents; Contract Manage and Contract Law. Key Performance Areas: Long term infrastructure planning, Infrastructure financing, procurement, contract management, maintenance and operational, Directorate: Financial and People Management; Engineering design and analysis effectiveness; Maintain engineering operational effectiveness: Governance: Allocate, control, monitor and report on all resources. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Programme and project management; Engineering design and analysis; Research and developme; Legal compliance; Technical report writing; Creating high performance culture; Networking; Engineering and professional judgment.
